Booked before you come
Every class is booked before you come. Boxing, Muay Thai, the ladies class and all the junior classes are booked on TeamUp. Adult Jiu Jitsu is booked through Forde's BJJ, where every membership includes a free trial class.
For Jiu Jitsu, you will be paired with the right partner for your first class. Most classes are all levels, and only the Friday 19:00 NoGi class is marked advanced.
For the free Junior BJJ trial, book it on TeamUp, it is valid for 30 days and it is for ages 6 to 16. Arrive 10 minutes before the class starts.

Check the timetable. Boxing and Muay Thai run on set nights, Jiu Jitsu runs six days a week, juniors have classes every day except Friday and Sunday.

Use the form here and we will point you at the right place, or go straight to TeamUp for striking and juniors, and to Forde's BJJ for adult Jiu Jitsu.

Before you ask
- How old do children need to be?
- Mini Gloves boxing is for 5 to 11 year olds and Teenage Boxing for 11 to 16s. Junior Muay Thai is for ages 5 to 16. Junior Jiu Jitsu is for ages 6 to 16.
- What is the minimum age for adult classes?
- The Ladies Only Thai Boxing class is for ages 16 and over. For the other adult classes, get in touch and we will tell you.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes for Jiu Jitsu. Every Forde's BJJ membership includes a free trial class, and there is a free Junior BJJ trial for 6 to 16 year olds on TeamUp, valid for 30 days. For boxing and Muay Thai, book a first session and pay as you go: £15 for adults, £14 for juniors.
- How do I book a class?
- Boxing, Muay Thai, the ladies class and all junior classes are booked on TeamUp, where you buy a plan or pay as you go and book each class. Adult Jiu Jitsu is booked through Forde's BJJ. Or use the form on this site and we will sort it with you.
- Do members still need to book?
- Yes. Monthly plans on TeamUp cover the classes but you still book each one.
- How much does it cost?
- Adults: £15 a class pay as you go, or £80 a month for Senior Boxing, Adult Thai Boxing or Adult BJJ. Women's BJJ is £40 a month. Juniors: £14 a class, £65 a month for boxing or Thai boxing, £50 a month for Junior BJJ, or £100 a month for every junior class. BJJ drop in is £15 a class or £20 for a day.
- How do I cancel a membership?
- TeamUp monthly plans bill on the 1st of the month, are prorated when you join, and need 30 days notice to cancel. Forde's BJJ memberships have no contract and you can cancel any time.
- Do I need experience to start Jiu Jitsu?
- No. Nearly every class is all levels. The only class marked advanced is Friday 19:00 NoGi. Your first class is free and you will be paired with the right partner.
- Is there a women's only class?
- Two. Ladies Only Thai Boxing on Thursday at 18:00, for ages 16 and over, booked on TeamUp. Women's NoGi Jiu Jitsu on Friday at 18:00 with Martina Zola, covered by the £40 a month women's membership along with the mixed Friday 19:00 class and all open mats.
